BIO

Frances Byrd is a Glasgow-based actor, voice actor, director and translator. 
She has just graduated from Acting Coach Scotland's Full Time Professional Diploma, after being in two successful productions at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2019. She took short courses and workshops at LAMDA and Shakespeare's Globe in London, and has an M.Ed. in English and Music.
She is the co-founder and artistic director of Maiden Thought Theatre, a multi-cultural company creating theatre in the Elizabethan tradition, which is based in Bremen, Germany. She has worked as a translator for television companies as she is bilingual in English and German.
